Obesity is a rapid leading cause to main physical health issues. Obesity and our behavior come hand-in-hand and we do not realize it. We start to feel different as in being tired, sluggish, unmotivated, and more.
If knowledge is revealed to be a key influence on behavioral change, procedures to change knowledge need to be more clearly specified within the context of effectively promoting behavioral changes in diet and physical activity (Baranowski et al., 2012).
Has short and long terms of physical consequences. This can lead up to increase developing hypertension, high cholesterol, stroke, fatty liver disease, type-2 diabetes, and breathing problems (Prost, Ai, A. L., Ainsworth, S. E., & Ayers, J., 2016).
We are so comfortable to buying fast-food because it is quick and easy. However, our behavior can lead up to feeling depressed, ashamed, and lazy to do not participating in any physical activity.
In the United States, obesity is becoming a leading issue in children and young adults. Nationally, combined together, 19 different states are weighing in at about 42% of individuals who are diagnosed with obesity (CDC, 2022). Just diagnosed!
